30. Killing Me Softly (2002) – Rating: 0%

American director Chen Kaige, who is of Chinese descent, is well-known. Farewell My Concubine, directed by Kaige, won the Palme d’Or at the 1993 Cannes Film Festival. Kaige also received recognition for his 2002 movie Together. Sadly, Killing Me Softly was a complete failure. The sensual thriller, starring Heather Graham, Joseph Fiennes, and Natascha McElhone, suffers from bad dialogue and outrageous plot twists. You would be better off seeing Kaige’s overseas flicks if you don’t want to squander almost two hours of your life.

29. A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994) – Rating: 0%

The title of this horrifying film, A Low Down Dirty Shame, is appropriate. Keenen Ivory Wayans took matters into his own hands with this production, acting as the director, writer, and star. If you make the regrettable decision to see the movie, you will likely be thinking to yourself afterward, “what a shame.” Wayans has directed some successful films throughout the years, such as White Chicks, Scary Movie, and In Living Color, but he fell short with this one. Wayans portrays Andre Shame, a detective whose pursuit of a drug lord has left him at a dead end. The movie is hindered by an offensive usage of slow-motion and lacks the humor that the Wayans are known for. There is a reason why Rotten Tomatoes has given this movie a score of 0%.

28. Bolero (1984) – Rating: 0%

Bolero is not one of the many movies that audiences like but reviewers don’t like. It is obvious that not even Bo Derek could save this abomination with a 17 percent audience score. Bolero, a movie directed by John Derek, is set in the 1920s and is on a young woman who is trying to lose her virginity. Lida (Bo Derek) meets a Moroccan sheik and a Spanish bullfighter on her voyage. Unfortunately for Lida, her Spanish beau suffers an injury from which men all over the world will instantly feel the anguish. Bo was not at his best during this time.

27. Homecoming (2009) – Rating: 0%

Homecoming, which was directed by Morgan J. Freeman—not that Morgan Freeman—tells a story that is all too common. Shelby (Mischa Barton) and Mike (Matt Long) were the ideal couple in high school. Mike was the great quarterback and Shelby was the homecoming queen. Mike leaves for Northwestern University, but when he returns home for Christmas with his new love, Elizabeth, things take a sharp turn. Shelby is determined to make Elizabeth’s life miserable in order to get her ex back, and what happens next is far too predictable. The acting is weak, the action is weak, and the story is sloppy. Abandon Homecoming.

26. Highlander II: The Quickening (1991) – Rating: 0%

The 1986 Highlander movie, starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, was fairly good. Its silly antics may not have been to everyone’s taste, but some enjoyed it precisely because of such moments. Russell Mulcahy, the director, regrettably decided to create a sequel five years later. In Highlander II: The Quickening, Connor MacLeod, played by Lambert, is tasked with saving Earth from annihilation. Nearly all of the ozone over Earth has vanished in the year 2024. As a result, MacLeod assists in constructing a shield to shelter Earth. Even for those who adored the first Highlander, Highlander II is unwatchable because of the time jumps, ridiculous special effects, and gruesome acting.

25. The Disappointments Room (2016) – Rating: 0%

The Disappointments Room was always the worst letdown in the room, regardless of where it was seen—whether in a theater or the comfort of one’s home. Dana, an architect who moved into a country house with her husband and son, is portrayed by the stunning Kate Beckinsale. Dana starts to experience horrific dreams and unexplainable visions after they move into their new house. Her spouse believes she is crazy because he cannot understand what she is claiming to see. Although it claims to be a thriller, this movie is anything but. Although Beckinsale gives a respectable performance, the rest of the movie is absolutely pointless.

24. Staying Alive (1983) – Rating: 0%

Who decided it would be a good idea to create a sequel to Saturday Night Fever? John Travolta made a comeback as Tony Manero six years after the popularity of the movie. Manero isn’t concentrating on the dance scene this time, though. Instead, he is focused on succeeding on Broadway. Sylvester Stallone’s Staying Alive, which he also wrote and directed, makes numerous attempts to replicate the enchantment of its predecessor but ultimately falls flat. The plot is confusing, not nearly as entertaining as the original, and somewhat embarrassing.

John Travolta in back-to-back movies… hardly the best look for the star. To begin with, Travolta and co-star Kirstie Alley don’t get along at all. Given that the two are married in the movie, there is a concern. This time, Rocks and Daphne (voiced by Danny DeVito) are adopted by James (Travolta) and Mollie (Alley) (Diane Keaton). The dogs fight throughout the movie, but James and Mollie are unable to hear any of the dog-talk. Really, do we need to spend our time watching a story about two dogs and two uninterested actors? No.

Imagine Redline as a poor man’s Fast & Furious series. Natasha, a skilled singer, automobile enthusiast, and excellent driver, is portrayed by Nadia Bjorlin. Natasha eventually joins an unauthorized drag racing outfit. Natasha is chosen to operate high-end vehicles in these risky races due to her aptitude as a driver. Unfortunately, the vehicles themselves are the only aspect of this movie worth paying attention to. The plot is weak, and it’s obvious that the author wanted to highlight the vehicles and the women rather than provide a compelling story. Oh, and while they were filming, an Enzo Ferrari was totaled; avoid them just for their outrageous display of disdain.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: “Fresh out of college, five friends face the horrors… ” Yes, it’s simply another horror movie about young adults on a trip into the woods. Five friends are followed in Eli Roth’s novel Cabin Fever as they attempt to get away to their cabin. They are unaware that a flesh-eating virus is hiding inside the cabin’s walls, ready to attack them. Fun! The remake is terrible. 19. Shadow Conspiracy (1997) – Rating: 0%

Both critics and casual viewers concur that this movie is awful. Shadow Conspiracy is a story about an assassination plan that stars Charlie Sheen, Donald Sutherland, Linda Hamilton, and Stephen Lang. Sheen portrays Bobby Bishop, the assistant of the president of the United States. Bishop eventually comes face to face with a man by the name of Pochenko. Pochenko informs Bishop of the president’s assassination plan since he is aware of it, putting Bishop in danger. Although the story doesn’t initially seem too bad, the movie itself is awful. The tale itself is confusing and ludicrous, and the actors don’t appear to care about their performances. Pass.

18. 3 Strikes (2000) – Rating: 0%

Three strikes and you’re out in baseball. Unfortunately, the title of this movie is entirely appropriate. 3 Strikes, directed and written by DJ Pooh, is about a man who has two strikes on his criminal record; a third strike would result in 25 years to life in prison. After a few minutes of seeing this presentation, you will be thinking to yourself, “I’m out.” This movie’s plot is absolutely mindless. After serving a second term, Rob Douglas (Brian Hooks) gets released from prison and picked up by a buddy. The only issue is that his friend decided to shoot at some police officers while operating a stolen vehicle. And with that, Douglas is now eluding capture. This film is supposed to be a comedy but honestly? There’s nothing to laugh at.

A legend, John Candy. Unfortunately, being a legend doesn’t shield you from occasionally giving a subpar performance. Wagons East, starring Candy! big time missed the mark. The movie, which is set in the Wild West, centers on a group of settlers who are fed up with how things are right now. The settlers decide they wish to go back to the East after meeting a cowboy. Even Candy is unable to redeem this time-wasting satire. Sadly, Candy’s final on-screen appearance features the emblem on the part of James Harlow, an alcoholic wagon master. It may sound impossible, but Candy appeared unfunny in this movie.

16. Problem Child (1990) – Rating: 0%

While Problem Child is undoubtedly not a fantastic film, it isn’t as bad as this rating might imply. The film is about a troubled kid, as the title suggests. Junior, played by Michael Oliver, is the main character of the film. He is a redheaded toddler who is adopted by Ben (John Ritter). Junior is a threat, and that is an understatement. He establishes a pen friendship with The Bow Tie Killer, a serial killer, and is frequently to blame for any negative events that take place in the community. Problem Child, which also stars Gilbert Gottfried, is ultimately not humorous enough to merit a second viewing.

Brooke Shields gave a standout performance in The Blue Lagoon in 1980. Return to the Blue Lagoon from 1991 was not hailed for its brilliance, therefore anticipation was modest. Two children and an adult, Sarah Hargrave, are left on an island in this unsatisfactory sequel (Lisa Pelikan). Tragically, Sarah dies soon after, leaving the kids on their own. On the island, Lilli (Milla Jovovich) and Richard (Brian Krause) raise a family and finally fall in love. Like the original, the success of this sequel depends on its attractiveness and stunning surroundings. But neither of those elements can make this movie entertaining.

Unfortunately, The Nutcracker in 3D disgraced the venerable ballet that uses Tchaikovsky’s well-known score. 3D is a terrible piece of “work.” I will be shocked if you can locate even one individual, whether they be 7 or 50 years old, who enjoyed this movie. Children didn’t enjoy it, parents slept off while wearing their 3D glasses, and theater staff advised viewers to avoid it. Amazingly a waste of time.

13. London Fields (2018) – Rating: 0%

London Fields, a film adaptation of Martin Amis’s best-selling book of the same name from 1989, falls short of capturing the beauty found within the book’s pages. Nicola Six, played by Amber Heard, is a character who has been plagued by visions of her impending death—and a particularly gloomy one. Six later has connections with three other men, one of whom she knows will kill her. Unfortunately, not even Billy Bob Thornton can turn this into a watchable movie. In contrast to the novel, the movie drags on and loses its focus right on. Read the novel instead of seeing the movie if you really want to get the most out of this narrative.

12. Stratton (2017) – Rating: 0%

Many factors contribute to the quality of a bad movie, and Stratton has some of them. Stratton, directed by Simon West, ultimately suffers from a lackluster cast, uninspiring set pieces, and subpar narrative. The movie follows an all-too-common narrative in which an experienced agent tries to find a terrorist group. Dominic Cooper, who plays the title role, personifies everything that is wrong with the movie. Cooper’s performance as John Stratton is uninspired, uninteresting, and unremarkable, just like this wannabe James Bond movie.

Netflix undoubtedly wishes it hadn’t made this movie. The first movie made as a result of the Adam Sandler/Netflix agreement is a Western comedy called The Ridiculous 6. The cast of Sandler’s comedy, which also includes Terry Crews, Luke Wilson, Rob Schneider, Jon Lovitz, Jorge Garcia, and Taylor Lautner, is a who’s who of well-known actors (comprising the six). There was some hope that Sandler’s movie would be enjoyable because so many celebrities were participating. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disorganized, embarrassingly insulting, and completely unfunny. The Ridiculous 6 is a movie that everyone wants to forget, not another enjoyable addition to Adam Sandler’s discography.

It makes sense that Jim Carrey is known for his humorous performances, but he is so much more than that. Carrey can handle more somber characters, and he tries hard to make his Dark Crimes performance stand out. Carrey plays Tadek, a police officer who is drawn into a sinister web of deceit, danger, and crimes. Unfortunately, the movie never quite fully exploits its intriguing plot. There isn’t enough excitement in the plot because it moves along slowly. Carrey gave a decent but not outstanding performance. In the end, this thriller is anything but exciting.

Boring? Yep. A few years in the future, the American government is sick of crime and terrorism. That concludes the story. When the sisters eventually pass away, Calvin and Leonard think they will inherit their money, but the sisters have other ideas. In Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, a team of bright young children band together to take on a villain. The media tycoon, played by Jon Voight, is committed to influencing children’s minds. How is a tale concerning John Gotti’s life so thoroughly misrepresented? Gotti, a 2020 film directed by Kevin Connolly (E from Entourage), is one of the worst gangster films you will ever see (if you subject yourself to that type of punishment). You’ll never be able to forget the iconic mobster played by John Travolta. Throughout the duration of the movie, you will only be able to watch Travolta, so you won’t be fully involved in the plot. Other than giving Travolta grey hair, there didn’t seem to be any attempt to alter his appearance. In A Thousand Words, a tree’s life determines how long Murphy will live. Each time he talks, a leaf from the tree falls. The death of Murphy’s character will occur once all the leaves have fallen. Yes, it is an intriguing idea. Murphy’s presence on the screen would be useless if he were to be silenced. How is that even possible? Nobody is aware. Their future selves continue to narrate their deaths in voicemails, including the precise day, time, and method of passing away. Even while the plot seems intriguing enough, the movie sadly fails. The watch isn’t spooky at all, which is disappointing given the potential for this horror story. Sever is a renegade DIA agent, while Ecks is an FBI agent. The two agents have been at odds for a long time, but they are compelled to work together to stop a greater menace. In 1933, King Kong astounded viewers and quickly won the respect of those in the industry. The movie is still recognized as possibly the best monster movie of all time, despite being released over 90 years ago. The movie made history at the time. It had never occurred to anyone to employ stop-motion effects in that way. The beast, when it came to Kong, wasn’t as amiable as depicted in more contemporary renditions. Kong did not view Ann Darrow (Fay Wray) as a friend or potential love interest, but rather as a prize. Although the tale of Kong is one that we are all familiar with, this unique story is the greatest in the series and a fantastic watching experience.
