One point every tennis player knows deep in their core is that a proper tennis serve is a weapon, a force to be reckoned with. But only if the technique is correct. If a player messes up the serve and the technique is not correct, then that serve is more of a liability than an asset. There are many tennis legends out there who are feared for their serve, take a look at the 11 greatest and most feared serves of all time.

John McEnroe

A legend and an old school player, John McEnroe is well known for his old-school serve and volley game. Not only that, he has a rather unusual serve motion because he practically turns his entire back toward the net meaning the opponent can’t tell where he is going to serve. Advantage, McEnroe.
