Here’s when things go a bit south. The year was 1996 when Brett Favre was temporarily banned by the NFL. Why? For drinking excessive amounts of drinking alcohol after admitting that he was addicted to Vicodin. Later Favre admitted his addiction came as a result of his needing treatment for many injuries – a claim he fessed up to once it was public knowledge that Fave suffered a seizure during a visit to the hospital. As a result, Favre spent 46 days at a drug rehab clinic before the new season started.
