Twiggy
Probably the most famous model of the 1960s, Twiggy represented the “Flower Power” movement, and popularized the stick-thin, waif-like look. She was so famous, they even made a Barbie version of her!
Iman
Iman broke through many obstacles, including being the first ever black supermodel. So famous that she was known by only one name (a la Beyonce), she was part of a new generation of models who negotiated contracts based on personality as well as looks. She was so successful that she became the muse of Yves Saint Laurent, and later married David Bowie.
