Snow Sucks
This Milwaukee weather reporter was sent out during a snowstorm to report live. After spending several hours in the freezing cold, she clearly had enough. While on the air, she decided to be brutally honest with the audience. “I’ve been here since, what, 3:30 this morning, it is now, I don’t even know what time it is, 9:45. I’m exhausted, I’ve run out of things to say. It is snowing, and it sucks here!” she said. This declaration was met with laughter from her producers as well as the viewers.

We all know that new anchors read from a teleprompter, so whoever is in charge of what’s written needs to be responsible enough for the task. Or else, the anchors might end up reading things that can be embarrassing or inappropriate. In this case, things went a little differently than expected. In Huntsville, Alabama, a news anchor was tricked into announcing her own marriage proposal! Under the impression that she received breaking news, she read off that she was being proposed to. Luckily for her partner, she said yes. Later on, the weatherman reported that there would be “100 percent chance of some tears of joy tonight.”
