A New Title
When the rumors came out, the Queen gave Duchess Kate a new title when she and William celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. She was granted the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. What a prestigious title! Many people took it to mean that she wasted no thought on the rumors.
