Gabe is so grateful to the Adams family for making the huge decision to adopt him, bringing him into their family, and sacrificing so much to bring him up to this point. He says that such a family is his greatest treasure. His parents, on the other hand, feel that Gabe has given them so much joy that their hardships pale in comparison.

His father, Ron Adams, said in a television interview, “The way he always tries to do his best always gives us energy and courage. Hardship comes with the things that can overcome it. We all have potential. The tough life that Gabe has had to bear is extraordinary. But everyone loves and is loved in this world, and even when we fail, we rise again, fight against ourselves, become stronger, and help others.
