The Huskies are a solid MAC team, but they have a lackluster stadium in which to play. Even fans who have nice things to say about the game’s experience say the venue needs refresh. Other fans remark that the concession stands quickly run out of food and that the limited restroom facilities tend to have long wait times. Some upgrades are due at Huskie Stadium. Constructed in 1965, it has a capacity of around 25,000.

With phrases such as “great little football field,” which is telling, admiring fans describe this stadium. Field Skelly at H. A. Chapman Stadium has 30,000 seats, dates from 1930, and lacks modern amenities. And while visitors agree that size doesn’t matter, an unfortunate parking situation is one thing they complain about. Plus, a couple of bad seasons have strained the spirit of game day. During the 2018 season, The Golden Hurricane won just three games.
