The fire department needs to have much different fire equipment for various situations to help people in need. There are 22 engine companies, a hazmat team, medical squads, and truck companies for the Co Springs Fire Department. In addition to 11 brush trucks deployed in wildland areas, 1 hazardous material decontamination vehicle, 1 air supply truck, and 1 hose wagon can carry personnel and be dispatched to emergencies.
