The New York Times explained that the show had likely been doomed by the huge budget that went into making it. Apparently, $180 million had been poured to its production! Unfortunately, the ratings did not live up to expectations and so it got the ax.

The Tina Fey original series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was a big hit among TV fans! Unfortunately, Netflix announced that its fourth season would be its final one as well.
