Reddit user godzilla_moon took to the website to share his story and get some opinion on whether he was acting unreasonably or not. The stepfather explained that after a decade of being in the life of his stepdaughter, he was quite sure that he was already part of the family. According to him, he was not only committed to his partner, but also to her daughter. However, something happened at his stepdaughter’s wedding which made him quite angry and turned the entire event upside down.

Godzilla_moon shared that he, his partner, and his stepdaughter (the bride-to-be) had been living together for the whole ten years. As the breadwinner, he made sure that the members of his family were well looked after, even offering to pay for his stepdaughter’s schooling when she graduated high school and decided to go to college. Although her schooling put him in $40,000 of debt, he didn’t even bat an eyelid. For him, she was his real daughter, so everything was worth it.
