Making Your Crop
Today, many people love gardening, but usually because it’s a leisure activity or to complement several of their foods. Only those who are skilled know how to clean up undesired pests and diseases and know the ideal moment to harvest. Very few people nowadays wholly depend on the food they grow themselves. Our forefathers did know how to produce high volume crop production, including pinto beans, wheat, and oat.
Preserving Food
Nowadays, it is not difficult to preserve food, as we have electric power, coolers, and freezers. For months we can contain some food in the freezer and defrost everything before trying to cook. However, our forefathers had no such privilege. It was much more challenging to preserve fresh produce, and certain goods would be ruined if they’re not eaten. Individuals used to smoke, dry, salt, and other food preservation methods in the old days.
